DESIRE TO SERVE
At NLCC we believe that the church is more than a building .
The church is a body of believers,
where every member is a minister contributing to the body of Christ.
Here are the various ministries within the church.
Please contact us at admin@nlcc.org.au if you wish to serve in any of these ministries.

LIFE GROUPS
In New Life City Church, members of our congregation participate in the life of the church by joining a life group. Life groups facilitate important elements of church life by providing quality care, relational discipleship, communication of vision and the integration of new believers into our church. They help to build a true community, continuously developing and releasing new leaders and encouraging evangelism.

Life Groups

Joshua Life, or, more fondly, "J-Life", is the youth ministry of New Life City Church serving children and young persons during their senior academic or tertiary pursuits, from high school through to TAFE or university.
J-Life aims to provide our young people with a safe learning environment where they can develop their life skills, adopt a positive self-image, foster supportive friendships, nurture leadership skills and, mostly, grow in their walk with God.
The ministry comprises a life group for the high school (Empower) and other life groups for university/ TAFE students.

SUNDAY SCHOOL
Sunlight Kids
Every Sunday, 10.00am
Explorers
Every Sunday, 10.00am
The Children Ministry at NLCC exists to serve our children and families. Our goal is to assist parents in bringing their children into a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and to help them grow in their faith.
____
Nursery a.k.a. Sunlight Kids
The primary goal of Sunlight Kids ministry is to introduce the Lord Jesus Christ our Savior to children from birth through preschool years. We are committed to develop, shape, and nurture a spirit of love for God, and the development of Godly character in our children through the promotion of biblical moral virtues such as: Christian love, holiness, discipline, honesty and integrity.
____
Primary a.k.a. Explorers
Our desire is to see Explorers become disciples who:
-
are what they believe – develop a personal relationship with God and grow in their identity in Christ.
-
understand and explain what and why they believe – hunger and grow in Bible knowledge so they can give a reason for their faith and reproduce faith in.
-
live what they believe – develop and engage in spiritual disciplines and live a stable spiritual life as they engage in community.
MISSION TRIPS
Be involved in the journey to fulfil the Great Commission.
NLCC sends an average of three Mission Impact Teams (MIT) on overseas missions annually. These MITs range from providing free medical and dental services, to conducting leadership seminars and hosting children character-building camps. To date, NLCC has sent over 44 MITs to Cambodia, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand and Taiwan.
